Dr. Au Vuong

Dr. Au Vuong has been teaching Physics for more than six years at Houston City College and Lone Star College. He has been teaching College Physics I, Il and University Physics I Il for college students. He is also teaching Algebra I, Il; Calculus AB, BC; AP Physics I, It; F-ma courses for many high school students in Katy, Texas. He believes his students have unique talents and challenges; he helps each student to find their best own learning styles. His teaching style is student-centered environment. He always starts his classes by introducing the theoretical sections, then gives a clear example for each concept before moving to the next topic. After covering the theoretical aspects, he encourages and helps his students to practice many Math and Physics problems to fully understand the theoretical concepts. Au Vuong earned his Ph. D. in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from Texas A&M University. Au Vuong enjoys the curriculum, instruction and assessment side of education.
